Here is a delicious Valentine’s Day treat for you!!
Chocolate -Dipped Strawberries
1/2 pound bittersweet chocolate
16 stemmed strawberries
Put the chocolate in a small metal mixing bowl.
Bring a saucepan, of water to a boil and turn off
heat. Set the bowl of chocolate on top of sauce
pan of hot water and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir,
let sit some more, and continue this way until
all the chocolate has melted. Take the chocolate
out of saucepan. Stir until smooth. Don’t let water
get into the chocolate or it will get lumpy. When
the chocolate feels neither hot nor cold to the
back of your finger, line a baking sheet with waxed
paper.
Dip the strawberries, one at a time, into the
chocolate half way. Put on waxed paper and
let cool until the chocolate hardens.
